Sugar cane bowls are so environmentally friendly because they are in fact made from sugar cane. After pressing out the juice for the sugar production, the remaining cane is ground into a cellulose pulp (bagasse). The pulp is then compressed to make our sugar cane bowls. No further coating is needed because the bagasse is water-repellent and grease-resistant. As the material is still natural, it can be composted after use (in accordance with EN 13432). Made so sustainably that you can serve food to your customers with a completely clear conscience.
The rectangular sugar cane bowls are the perfect depth to hold larger portions. Its rectangular shape is modern and makes the most of the space available. This is a benefit when storing the bowls as well as presenting dishes. They are stable yet pleasantly lightweight.
